3801HGV specs lower than Time Capsule

I've searched the forums and gathered info on using my Time Capsule (10/100/1000, 802.11n) for WI-FI instead of the 3801 (10/100, 802.11b/g) . Here is a great post for how to do it.

One thing that I'm confused about is if I plug the TC into one of the 3801's ethernet ports is that a choking point since the 3801's ethernet ports are only capable of 10/100?    Thanks

Choking point to what? Your network? Or the WWW?
Currently the fastest Uverse internet on a 3801 is Max Turbo (24M) , if you have it.
That is a only a quarter of the 100 switch on the 3801, so what do you think your choking point is.

As far as your network, the TC may be able to handle 100/1000 but what about the devices connected to it?

The only advantages your TC has over the RG are wireless N and built in hard drive for storage or backup and the ability to talk to other equipment wired quicker between said gear on your LAN and thats why I have one.

What it will not do is give you any faster wireless service as was said untill the pipe is opened up to 50mbps and currently its half that .
