wireless n router behind RG

wireless n router behind RG

I want to set up my replacement inside router for optimal wireless usage behind the ATT 3800HGV-B RG. The RG is currently configured using the default RG DHCP address range of 192.168.1.0 / 255.255.255.0. I want all my wireless connections to go through the new Netgear WNDR37AV router connected to RG by ethernet connection. What would best config be? Should I set up the router as a wireless AP? The RG shows addresses on the 192.168.1.0 pool starting at .64 through .127. please help.

From the information which you have provided, it seems you are using AT&T U-verse service.

If yes, we have help available at 1-800-288-2020 which is open 24/7.

Else, you can contact them on e-Chat at : https://pattta.att.motive.com/netagent/questionnaire_uverse.aspx

However, if you are using High Speed Internet (DSL) service only, please contact our support at 1-877-722-3755. It is a toll free number, open 24/7.

We would be glad to fix the issue for you.
