Remote codes for Sherwood Receiver
Does anyone know any additional remote codes for a Sherwood receiver?  The one that is listed 5027 does not work with my unit.

I can not get the listed AT&T codes to work for my new Sherwood RD-6505 receiver.

Tried the auto learning function with no luck as well.

Sherwood support is bouncing back any email requests I send using the links on the above mentioned contact link.

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 sorry, no mailbox here by that name (#5.1.1) (state 14).

We get many requests from Sherwood owners about adding our remote codes to a cable box or satellite
receiver. I'm sorry to report that we have no way to add our codes to these existing units. This can only
be done by the manufacturer of the actual remote and from my experience, they either cannot or will
not do so. For that reason, many of our customers who want to consolidate to a single remote have
purchased aftermarket remotes that can learn our codes. There are also some pre-programmed remote
control companies that have our complete code base. Units offered by Universal Remote Controls
(http://www.universalremote.com/) and by Universal Electronics (http://www.uei.com//html.php?
page_id=63) are good choices.

Our technical services coordinator recommends the Universal Remote Control R6, $19.99 at Wal-Mart.

Best regards

Sherwood America

I just got through programming a SonyRM-VZ320 $16.99 @ Best Buy. Works the AT&T set top/DVR , TV, DVD player and the new Sherwood receiver!
