noob question. the Uverse realtime reports that it cannot find any Coax/HPNA devices. When I click that tab it connects to the NID and shows a busy signal for a few seconds and then comes back with nothing. Below Stats, Interfaces and Coax screenshots. What does that mean? I have two TVs in the house one DVR the other no DVR, both connected via Coax. Shouldn't they show up? Under Interfaces it looks like HPNA/Coax signal is going through the router. The main reason I am asking is because my TV stalls for a fraction of a second once in a while and I wanted to check the signals. On the other hand, I think it's likely the DVR itself (maybe the hdd), because when I go back on the same channel and play again, the stall is not present. The stream to the DVR was therefore good I think, just not from the DVR to the TV.

Ok, this is very possible it's just this test in which will not show you the results!!
Have you tried to Power Cycle your RG, and re-run these tests?
Otherwise, if you beleive there is an issue with the lines, or the DVR, feel free to call Tech Support, They can def. run the real time tests and get you some REAL results!! Cheers!

thanks for your reply. Everything has been power cycled for the umpteenth time, nothing changes to the realtime test. thanks for the call short cut

Glad to be of help..... maybe some other's can shed some light.... but it is VERY POSSIBLE, this tool just does not provide these results!

Has anything been added or changed recently?
Check your splitters and all of the other coax connections; make sure everything is more than finger tight (just a light tightening with a wrench).

You have an i3812V + i38HG combo, which is used for a pair bonded installation. When I added support of this router to U-Verse Realtime, I did not have any example configurations that had coax-connected devices, so I'm fairly sure that what is happening is that U-Verse Realtime is not properly detecting the coax devices. They are actually connected and present, but UVRT needs a programming update to find them.
Please follow the directions in this post to save some data from your i3812V router. I will send you my e-mail address in a private message (PM).
Once you've saved the 5 HTML files as directed in that post, zip them up and e-mail them to me. I will find out what's going on and fix UVRT to detect the coax devices.

This INID installation runs on a completely diff. basis then the original setups for U-verse.
Very possible this is the issue with your tool..... I see no need to worry about the inconsistent result. Especially if it is not service effecting!
