Limit on number of shows I can subscribe to

Limit on number of shows I can subscribe to

I am looking at swithching to U-Verse THDVR from DirecTV HD-DVR. One of the questions I have is if there is a limit to the number of shows I can subscribe to.

DirecTV DVR maxes out at 50, TiVo had no limit - does the U-Verse have a limit?

Thanks,

Re: Limit on number of shows I can subscribe to

There is no subscription to shows on Uverse, you set-up 'series recordings' on programs and we do not know if there is a limit as no one has posted they exceeded the limit. :smileywink:

You can only watch live or record 2HD and 2SD different streams at the same time so if you do a lot of recording of shows you may have conflicts if you excced the stream limits.

I agree w/Escapee, you must respect the stream limits on what 'series recordings' you set up, but Uverse is good about warnings on stream conflicts and lets you resolve them.  :smileywink:

One of the main reasons that I switched from DirecTV was that with DirecTV you could only record 2 shows at a time while with Uverse you can record up to 4

Having 2SD steams are pretty useless for me as I don't go below 1002 very much, I'm waiting for Class 11 Uverse's 3d HD stream suppossedly coming sometime. :smileysurprised: :smileyvery-happy:

I've got 55 "season passes" set up now and have had more...

I've never seen anyone post on a limit so I'd say no, there is no limit as with DirectTv.
