Internet Ready TV

Internet Ready TV

I just bought an internet ready TV.  Can the "Network" port on the back of the DVR be used to hook the TV up to the internet?

Thanks

Yes, yes it is.  I have a new Sharp AQUOS and it's amazing.  I've already Twittered from the TV.

"Where does he got those wonderful toys"?  Appropriate since I just downloaded Batman right to my TV via. NETFLIX.

The beauty part is these TV's can have the firmware updated via ethernet.

Re: Internet Ready TV

And if UV service is connected to the STB via Ethernet, you're out of luck. Smiley Sad

Enjoy your new toy!

I don't know about that, but it's nice to reward yourself from time-to-time.  Plus, I got it at a going out of business sale and couldn't pass it up.

It already updated the firmware once since I plugged it in yesterday.  I have it set up to automatically check.
