Welcome to the new AT&T Community
We've got a fresh look! Take the tour to see what's new.
I have the tool installed on Windows 7 and I am running the 64-bit version of both my OS and the tool.
The tool would like to take over management of my wireless network which I do not want. Also, I can already get most features from the on-line self support tool and from the web interface on the RG itself.
There is no uninstall option. If I try to uninstal it from add/remove programs, I am told that the entry is invalid.
How do I uninstall it?
I'm not that computer savvy, but what you might want to try first is disconnecting the computer from the RG and then go into add/remove programs again. Sometimes if a program is being used you won't be able to delete it. You could also try the search for files and folders option to locate the program and manually delete it.
Personally, I would never install any support tool. I bought an HP laser printer a couple of years ago and made the mistake of installing the support tool, it screwed up the computer so bad I had to do a system restore.
