Associating Internet Facing IP with IPCOP

Current Setup:

5 Static IP's from Uverse
Uverse Router/DG
Dell PowerEdge 2650 running VMWARE ESX 3.5

Problem:

When editing my address allocation IPCOP is not showing up in the populated list of devices. After some tinkering I have found that the UVERSE Gateway will not populate the list with anything that it does not assign DHCP to. This is backwards in my opinion. This poses a problem. The IPCOP install requires a static IP to be associated with it.  So obviously it isn't in my list of devices.

Question:

Is there a way to manually enter a static IP address within the internal network to be associated with the internet facing IP?
