Please, someone from ATT contact me. ATT's customers are unable to reach any servers owned/operated by Softlayer. Traceroute dies from multiple ATT users from around the US trying to reach multiple domains/servers inside the Softlayer network.
Explaining this to Tier 1 is going to be impossible.

This is a peer-to-peer forum of AT&T U-Verse subscribers, there is generally no one here from AT&T that can specifically assist you with troubleshooting this issue.
However, here is a contact that can get the ball rolling towards resolution:
Click the tab in my signature below that says AT&T Links, and on that signature panel there is a link that says AT&T Social Media Support Team. This will take you to a page with contact information for David and Matt, who are tier 2 specialists. Follow the directions there to e-mail them, they will get to the bottom of the problem.

Thanks for the reply. I finally got in touch with Tier 2. Tier 1 was hilarious to deal with.
Looks like all ATT connections are clearing ATT networks, but some are failing inside softlayer's network. Guess this isn't an ATT thing.

Even when a situation like this is common to all AT&T subscribers, it still may not be something AT&T has control over. It may be that all AT&T subscribers share a single access point into that network that isn't used by other ISPs.

That's what I thought as well, however the Tier 2 guy's last hop in to the actual web servers on Softlayer went through a different box than all the ATT connections I had access to. You're correct it's not an ATT thing, I didn't realize that until Tier 2 was able to get to the domains, via being routed through a different last hop.
