ATT Press Release for resolving Conflicts

as per AT&T press release: " with Series Priority, you can also prioritize all of your household’s scheduled recordings. The new Keep at Most feature lets you select how many episodes of a recorded series are stored on your DVR, and allows you to store a recording until the date you select. With Series Delete, you can delete all recordings of a series with one click of the remote control."

Is this functionality for STB only and if so what is the STB version #.

Will this functionality be available for scheduling via the web?

Regardless this sounds like a great feature that we've all been waiting for

IMHO all of the stbs will be able to have all of these functions to the dvr the same way they do now.  The only thing they can't do is pause and rewind live tv.

Re: ATT Press Release for resolving Conflicts

My wife is largely unhappy with the fact that she cannot rewind or pause on AT&T's non-DVR STB.

Let's see how long it will last until the day she can't stand it anymore and says, "ok, you can now put a satellite dish on my backyard."

Re: ATT Press Release for resolving Conflicts

No other service providers are giving stbs that can pause and record live tv.  The only way you can have that feature on more than one tv is to by extra dvrs.  At least ATT is going to roll out phase thres of thdvr which iwll have that feature.  Hopefully she will be able to hang in there until it rolls out.
