att u-verse issues in my town (im not the only one)

i live in a relatively small town in oklahoma, the whole north end of town has been having issues for the last 8 months, me and several other people have had countless tech's out they are always baffled because the signals all come in perfect, but when we run a speed test over ethernet its terribly slow. example, i have a 24mb/s connection and on average i get 3-12mb/s. on occasion i get my full speed but most of the time i dont, the funny thing is my cousin who lives right up the road his speeds will drop to almost exactly the same speeds mine do when they drop.

now i have been told that it has been put out to engineering for them to look at and fix, but ive been told that for the last 6 months, they have came out replaced the line from the alley to my house twice, new box, new modem's new lines from box to modem everything, nothing even helps.

when all this started a construction company accidentally dug up one of the main lines feeding the town and we went without internet for about 3 days when it came back up is when all of the issues began.

i have been given the number of the manager, who never answers his cell when i call to try to get any kind of updates on what is going on. the tech's have mentioned soemthing about a card in the home office that is messed up and the home office doesnt want to fix it or something along those lines. we cant seem to get anything done about it, after 8 months of this i have gotten a measly $10 taken off my bill monthly and i have no idea what kind of steps to take to make sure this problem gets properly addressed.

@rtotheoss   Contact ATT Uverse Care to get things fixed.  Contact ATT Uverse Care on the link in my signature below.

Send them a Private Message, on this link, and they should be able to give the help needed to solve your Uverse service Internet slowdown problems. They are available M-F 8am-11pm Eastern time (also around on weekends), response may take up to 2 business days.

This is not the regular CS/TS phone people, but the social media Community Specialists that know the people to contact to get things done. I personally know as they've helped me on a DVR swap and gone above and beyond.

Include your name, account #, email address and a good phone # (land or cell) and time to contact you on.

Check the blue PM envelope, upper right on every page, for their reply. Good luck 😉

i cant seem to reply to the message for some reason the send button will not work.

heres the nat sessions dump from the modem after a reboot and only one computer plugged into it, from what i read this is almost perfect for the nat sessions.

session table 954/1024 available, 2/512 used in inbound sessions:

ran the test a few times to get a good idea of the speeds, running on a different server each time

i also had my cousin two blocks away run the speedtests at the same time and his speeds were almost identical to mine(he is on an 18mb/s service), i can assure you its a area wide issue nothing to do with my local network.

edit: nvm i got the message to go through.
