Uverse guide info all messed up
The Uverse guide has always been subpar but now over the last week or so most of the series I have set to record have changed their record settings and even when I set it back to record only first run, dozens of my programs are recording every single episode that airs. Each day more shows are having their settings changed. You guys really need to work on the guide.
1. Why is it changing my settings?
2. Why is it ignoring my settings and recording every episode?
3. How do I get it to only record 1st run episodes again?

Hi @HnyBear,
Sorry to read of the trouble you are having with the recording feature. In the past, our members have had to delete all the schedules and reenter them. This cleans up the back-end. We are recommend a restart of the modem and receivers. We setting up a recording, we do recommend using the guide to select the show. This will ensure it is recorded the day of.

I have reset everything, I've deleted and resetup recordings, I always use the guide and still the problem persists. Still doesn't explain why the dvr suddenly changes the settings I've made for my recordings on the series level. Also doesn't explain why it's grabbing the guide data and thinking every single episode is a "First Run" episode. I have 120 programs set to record through out the year and having to delete and setup each one over again is nuts, especially since setting up a couple of them over yielded no change.
Something is wrong with the guide data being pushed to the receivers. It's not on my end. I've noticed a lot of the shows don't even say the date they originally aired anymore. That is probably the problem right there.

HnyBear,
Unfortunately we do not have answers as to why that is occurring. At this time, we do not see a wide spread issue. We can tell you that sometimes communication is an issue with the equipment. In the past replacing the modem has helped.

It's a new modem, all program info is populating but the aired on dates are missing and the DVR thinks that means every episode is a new episode. Again it's not happening with every show but enough of them to be causing a problem. Mostly happening with shows on DIY and HGTV but also other channels. Show effected that I've noticed are most of the "Crashers" shows, kitchen, bath, room, yard, yardcore.... etc etc

It's happening on HD channels. Recording setup is Keep all episodes until space is needed, Record any day anytime, record first run only, End at scheduled end time.

@HnyBear That's they way mine are set-up and nothing is changing for me, so that's weird on yours. Although I do reboot weekly and do a N-DDR every couple months to get these type of buggaboos out.
Sure would like to get the no OAD programs considered new when usually rerun problem fixed.

Hi @HnyBear,
I think by N-DDR mibrnsurg means a non-destructive recovery. You can do it by:

Ah ok, I skipped that part and went into the service menu and factory reset it. It appears to be working better but I think guide data changed on your end because I saw the changes in the iOS app even before I reset the DVR.
