U-Verse DVR Question

I was wondering if I could watch my recorded shows online or on an app?

If so, how?

No, not from the DVR.

They might be found here where you can watch online:  http://uverse.com/uv/networks

😉

It is not possible via U-verse apps. It requires a device called slingbox (or a similar device from another mfgr).

A sling box connects to the internet and your U_verse STB to receive the STB output and stream it over the web. It uses an IR blaster to control the STB.

With a slingbox, you can watch your TV/STB via a browser on any computer connected to the web as if you were in the same room (e.g. play recordings). You can also purchase an app to watch via a portable device(e.g. an iphone).

Can you tell me more about the sling box, where would I get that?

Also whats the app. I am going out of town and want to be able to watch stuff from  my DVR.

You can schedule/delete recordings via an AT&T app. I believe you can also watch some live shows via an AT&T app.

I have no inside information, but I would think that someone in some AT&T laboratory is working on a U-Verse app where you can be able to watch previously-recorded shows.

Who is working on fixing the Uverse APP?

All other media APPs work great...Stars, Foxnews, a&e,...
Directv app worked great.

Uverse app looses ability to watch live tv....all channels.

I sure hope someone is working on this!
