Lost TV sound.

I turned off my TV about midnight Thursday after watching all evening.

I turn it on Friday morning and there was no sound.   I did not change any setting.

The TV is not on MUTE.  The internal and external speakers are set to ON.

I plugged an older TV in to the DVR using an old COAX.  I get no sound from it either.

My big set is a Panasonic plasma about 6 years old.

I have it on my pocket drive, so if you ever want, let me know.

Which Set Top Box do you have? I found that the Panny series that you & I have, do not play nice with hdmi with the boxes, but work fine with Component connection.
