Does the Total Home DVR recieve / pass through 5.1 channel audio?

I currently have a wired cable connection providing U-450 level service to a Motorola 1216 DVR linked to a Pioneer reciever via HDMI which passes through the audio/video signal to a Sony XBR TV via HDMI.  If I upgrade to the Motorola 2500 Total Home DVR, will the wireless signal being recieved from the WAP carry 5.1 audio?

sendin - Yes, the wireless signal (WAP to STB), is the same as wired signal via COAX or cat5. It is an "IPTV" that is decoded by the STB to HDMI. ONce on the HDMI the signal is the same regardless of how it is delivered to the STB.
