Most Recent Software Update is Junk!
I have had great success with my phone, which is a Galaxy 6. The most recent update which came through my phone on Saturday, June 18, has been nothing but a headache. My text messages have a huge delay from the time that I push the letter until it appears on the screen. There is a huge delay when pressing all buttons and sometimes I have to push them over three times before the phone recognizes the prompt. I have never had any troubles until this update.

Seems to be a Samsung Keyboard issue of some type. Since this app can't be uninstalled, it's built in. You can try clearing it's data. Go to app manager (APPLICATIONS in settings usually), find SAMSUNG KEYBOARD. Open it up, and hit the CLEAR DATA button.
If that doesn't work, factory reset the device.

@saallen33 In addition to the above advice, wiping the cache partition will often clear up post-update issues. It won't delete your data, and it's fast and easy to do, so it's worth giving it a try.
