PS3 keeps getting disconnected from online games and Playstation Network.

I haven't had any problems with playing MMOs on my laptop. However, I keep getting kicked out of online games and Playstation Network on my PS3. Hulu and Netflix works fine. I also noticed the NAT type is 2. Why does my router seem to hate my PS3? Is there a way to change the NAT type to open for better pairing/performance in online games? The NetGear router I had with TWC had everything laid out nicely, and I was able to resolve such issues on my own. However, the router AT&T gave me seems very restricted.

I have searched the forums. The only advice I've found involved port forwarding for every system, game, and service that I needed access to. That would put me at well over 100 entries. I think that is ridiculous. I'll try sending a PM to the U-verse specialists.

I also had the same issue since having the service in Oct, hopefully I will have something to post to provide some answers. I port forwarded and went DMZ mode and neither was successful.

I'm having the same issue. I'll be playing an online game then suddenly I get disconnected from the server. I'm also having an issue where when I'm trying to sign in to my PSN account on my Playstation 3, it usually takes at least 2 or 3 attempts before I can sign in successfully. It only started happening when I switched to AT&T internet.
