    Oh me. Andy Williams is gone....age 84

    Actually one of the really fine voices on the pop music scene and...and has, for years, still been very popular performing in his theater in Branson, Missouri.......down in the beautiful Ozarks.

     

    Just heard it on the noon news that he has passed away at age 84.

    I love his Moon River and his Christmas album.  I was a little too young to really get into his TV variety show.

    Bad nrews. I remember watching his tv shows with my grandparents. He had the best christmas specials. He had the most beautiful wife. Her name sounded so pretty. Claudine Longet! Anybody else remember her?

    Yup, I recall the upgrade to Color.  1971.  Good thing that U-Verse wasn't around - they would have hit us with a $2 (1971 money, lol), Color Technology fee! Smiley Happy

    Sadly I must agree as this must be in reference to the HD fee which makes no common sense because OTA HD is FREE.
