Equipment Sent To Direct TV For Which We Are Being Charged
In January of 2016 we left Direct TV for Comcast. Naturally, we sent the Direct TV equipment back using the box provided for that purpose through the local UPS Store. For the last several months, Direct TV has been dunning us for $162 saying that we owe Direct TV for the equipment we sent back. Unfortunately, we did not keep the tracking number so there is no way to positively confirm the fact that we sent the equipment back. How do we resolve this situation, apart from simply paying the $162??
Re: Equipment Sent To Direct TV For Which We Are Being Charged
Directv uses the United States Postal Service (USPS), not the United Parcel Service (UPS) for their equipment returns. So by dropping off at the UPS Store like you said, that would be the problem.
