Can anyone explain what HD Access is? Pursuit Channel moving to a new satellite

 Pursuit Channel moving to a new satellite requiring cuatomers to have an HD receiver (which I have) and HD Access to continue viewing this channel.

its a line item on the bill

and some older receiver do not receive hd signal

HD access is your HD service. They mention both because it was possible to order SD service (before SD was grandfathered) but be in an MPEG market where your channels are comming off an HD stream, even though you chose not to subscribe to HD. So you got the HD boxes to accept the signal but were set to only give you the SD version. I live in one of those areas so I had MPEG receivers before I finally upgraded to HD.
