Fraudulent Installation Employee - Use of residential connection in business

The Direct TV installer who installed our residential service told us he could also set up our business service -  he asked us to pay him directly to expedite installation.  Appears he just extended our residential service improperly and left us holding the bag. Has this happened to anyone else?
