Uverse Blocking SMTP port 25

We have a small business account and Uverse is blocking Port 25. WE are strictly locked down for relaying, we need to be able to send mail out. How can we get it unlocked ? I know this is possibel and we need assistance.

Thank you.

Hey @mrg5000

You are correct, the U-verse Gateways do block the SMTP filter by default but, I'll be glad to assist you with this. I'm going to send you a Private Message that will land in your inbox and we will move forward from there. Thanks! 🙂

I suggest you click this AT&T logoU-verse Customer Service link to send a Private Message (PM) to the AT&T customer service team to help you resolve your request. You can expect a reply via return PM (the blue envelope envelope in the upper right hand corner of this site) in a business day or three.

This is a group of U-verse service specialists who are knowledgeable about U-verse and will stay with your problem until the end (instead of forgetting about it when the phone hits the cradle). Speed things up by including your Billing Account Number, and the best time and way to reach you.

It appears others with the same problem were helped within hours of posting here.

Some were.  But you have posted late on a Saturday and they don't always read posts on weekends.  Come Monday your post may get overlooked.  A PM is much less likely to get missed.

Up to you, though.

Yeah, I understand. Be assured I PM'd them already as well.

Sorry. Guess I'm a little aggravated at having spent most of the day troubleshooting firewalls, email servers, email clients - not to mention bouncing all-manner of authentication permutations off hosts and servers - just to arrive at the fact that the ISP themselves are blocking access.
