When it first started, it was a small line down the screen. It would pop up every now and again, but now it's continuous all day. Googled for some answers and got the results that it's a defect in the screen. Found that pressing on top center of screen removes the line temporarily, but I would like this to be fixed permenantly. Took it to my closest AT&T store and the guy just googled it. Same results. He then googled the DISCONTINUED number for Samsung's customer service line. After I found the correct number, I called. They couldn't help me either (had me go through multiple tests on my phone that didn't even relate to the screen.) then referred to Samsung help desk at Best Buy. Went there and the guy tells me he can't help me because they only deal with software, not hardware. I should call back the Samsung customer service and explain in detail that it is a problem with the pixels and they will probably have me send them the phone for inspection. Problem is, I'll be a week or two without a phone. I also have a very small chip at the top which happened after the line popped up. Best Buy guy said would be a problem because even though it's not related to the line, it's still considered physical damage and I would have to pay to get it replaced.Since I don't have a phone to switch to and can't be without one because of work, what can I do? Would it be possible to replace/trade in store under warranty? What is my best option?

Nothing much more frustrating than having your phone screen act up. I’m sorry to hear you’ve needed to make multiple trips with no resolution and I’ll be happy to help!

 

So we can avoid you being charged for a replacement, my advice would be to drop by one of our Device Support Centers and have one of our experts take a look at your Galaxy S7 edge.

 

They’ll be able to inspect your phone and determine if it would be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty and help replace it at the location if so.

I also come across same problem but bought this phone in Hong Kong
And I have brought for one month only.
Can I send this phone to ur company and get the warranty?

Thank you for joining the Community Forums.  I sorry to hear you are having the same issue.  Currently we are only able to warranty AT&T branded phones which are on a current account.  If the phone is under a year old, please contact Samsung for warranty support.

Hello @heisbo,

 

Not a problem! Since the phone was not purchased as an AT&T branded phone, you will need to go through the manufacturer.  You can check the status of your Samsung Warranty by contacting Samsung Support or by taking it into a Samsung Experience in Best Buy.

i had this same problem. i pressed in the top right and it hasn't come back
