samsung gear s
samsung s5 active compatible with samsung gear s? I chatted with a Samsung rep and person said no and I see on att page that it's compatible. I'm a bit confused. I just want to purchase the samsung gear that suites my phone.

The Gear S works with all Samsung phones running 4.3 (ie, you have to be able to run Galaxy Gear on the phone)
I have a Note 3, it works fine with the Gear S (even before the latest 4.4.4 update) - it should work with the s5 active running 4.4.2
