How do I find my mailbox number?
My daughter never set up her voicemail when we got her phone. Now when I try to go through the steps to set up her voicemail we can't get past entering the mailbox number. Samsung A737 slider phone. Trying to follow the steps below:
Dialed 1 to access voicemail- it says more information needed to direct your call to the appropriate mailbox. To leave a message dial a 10 digit mailbox number or if you have a mailbox on this system press #
We press # it asks that we enter the mailbox number which I am assuming is her phone number. That's where we are stuck. I've entered her entire number with area code, number without area code, and the last four of her phone number. It tells me it does not recognize a mailbox with that number.
What is this??? All of our other phones were set up when received and never had this problem. We hit voicemail and it goes straight to our mailbox, never have entered a mailbox number.
Any ideas?????????????

This is easy, just call customer support. I had the same problem, calling customer support and telling them my same problem worked for me. 🙂

unfortunately I wasn't given quick support like you guys. Was transferred through 4 different departments with people claiming to be working on the issue and "close to fixing" the issue. The last person I talked to turned off my service causing us to lose and never called me back like she said she would if we lost connection. Called back and immediately demanded to be sent straight to advanced tech dept. Lady was able to fix it in no time as if it was nothing but it took the others from 8pm till 10pm. Was happy with her service but when i asked for a discount she told me I already had a discount from my job...ok so? I got absolute horrible service with everyone but her. Might cancel my plan. It's a shame since I've been with them since 1993.
