Hi @Pieper28!
I definitely apologize for that happening when you are submitting the unlock request! I can imagine how frustrating that can be!
Are you currently on the AT&T Next installment plan for the S7 Active or was it purchased at full retail cost?
There are a few general requirements when trying to unlock a device:
If you feel that you have met the above requirements, you can submit a request once again at the AT&T Device Unlock Portal.
Let me know how it goes! I’m here if you have any other questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach back out! Take care and have an awesome week!

Have you had the chance to unlock the phone with the unlock code you received? To enter in the unlock code, it will require using a SIM card from the carrier that you are looking at having service with.
The unlock steps for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active once you have the unlock code is as follows:
Let me know if you’re still having trouble with getting the phone swapped over to the new carrier. Have an amazing rest of the week!

If you received the unlock code and unlocked it, it will work with any compatible network. ATT has done all they can do by sending you the code.

You cannot remove a battery from a S7 Galaxy Active. The case is sealed.

The instructions online from AT&T are inaccurate for the S7 Series including the Active. They tell you to remove the battery. There is not removable battery Since the battery is sealed that is not an option. I see no other correct instructions to follow once you have the unlock code for this device. How about someone from AT&T post an accurate set of instructions?
