Unlock AT&T Samsung s8
I am trying to use my Verizon Wireless SIM card on my At&t Samsung Galaxy s8, I received by approval email from At&t, but when I follow the instructions the sim network unlock pin screen did not pop up automatically, what am I doing wrong?

Wow. ATT needs to update its antiquated unlock directions.
S8 battery is not removable of course.
@olgaot24
Try this: Remove SIM card and type the following:
#7465625*638*
the unlock code

Awesome those instructions worked on unlocking my phone, greatly appreciate it.
Now, why is my Verizon SIM card not working in the unlocked AT&T Samsung Galaxy s8?

Hmm. Weird. It worked fine for me. The S8 actually goes to a blue screen with giant SIM card and converts to Verizon.
Thats not happening at all?

I’m afraid I’m at a loss. Almost no ATT androids will work on Verizon. My S9 will not. But the S8/S8+ was an anomaly and not only worked, but converted completely.
@GLIMMERMAN76 any ideas?

Where do I type the code? In the PUK code box or on the phone screen?
With the help of ATT and Verizon IT support we have been trying for over three weeks to move phone from ATT to Verizon

If you are getting a PUK box you may have already entered an incorrect unlock code too many times.
Did you enter an incorrect code? How many times?
If that’s the case your phone is permanently locked to ATT.

It’s it’s been at least 20 times!
I have had 3 and 4 hour sessions with ATT and Verizon on conference calls......
am I done? Is there no fix?
