Unable to receive message from 1 person
I am able to send text to my mom but I can't receive them anymore. Very annoying, she is not blocked the number is correct! I need this fixed. She has android just like I do. It was all of a sudden issue. Can anyone help?

I fixed it, had to delete the entire contact then it worked. Not sure why but it worked. Thanks everyone

@willingham3 I'd try:
1. "force shutdown" of the messaging app
2. clear the app-cache of the same (messaging) app
3. reboot your device
Restart the messaging app, and test, I bet it works fine.

My husband and I had tried the delete contact on both of our phones; but it still continued to show "message failed" when I tried to text him. When I had him do this option (he was the one who stopped getting my texts) it worked like a dream. Thanks for the assist. This had been going on for a week.

When you deleted the contact, did you delete all the previous message you received? Also, did any of the old messages come through?
