Software update

Me and my wife purchased 2 note 8s on the same day have used them just as we always do, but for some reason her phone will receive updates where as I have been stuck on the 7.1 1. Since I've had the phone, I have been through all of the tutorials on how to update but still comes up saying it's up to date. Please help.

You can follow the steps at this link to Learn how to update the software for your Samsung Galaxy Note 8. If you still cannot update the software after following the steps at the link that we've provided, you can use our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool to fix software update issues. Simply select your device and the issue, then follow the steps to find a solution. Please keep in mind that some updates are rolled out slowly and not all devices will get them at the same time.
