Effective 4/8/2015, AT&T releases Android 5.0 (Lollipop) software update for the Samsung Galaxy S 5(SM-G900A!
• This update is available to download via firmware over the air (FOTA).
• A Wi-Fi connection is required.
Software Update Includes:
• Android 5.0 Lollipop Highlights
o Songs, photos, apps, and even recent searches from one Android device can be immediately enjoyed across all of your Android devices.
o New User Interface look and feel, more fluid motions
o Priority mode to only allow certain notifications to get through
o Battery saving features and remaining time left to charge or deplete indicators
o Smart Lock to secure phone or tablet by pairing it with a trusted device like a wearable or car
o Most frequently used settings available with just two swipes down from the top screen

Att does not disclose software update schedules. I wish they did but they dont want to misss a deadline and I dont blame them.

The entire world is getting updated for the Samsungs S5 to the 5.0 (lollipop) version. There is an official Samsung version of this OS, which you (At&t) should have by now. When can we expect that you roll out this update to our phones?

AT&T doesn't pre-announce these things, so we all get to find out togeather when it actually happens. It often takes a few months (or more if there's a problem) for AT&T to get an OS update tested and rolled out.

the other thing to remember is samsung has to build a different version for US phones. US phones have snapdragon soc's and the rest of the world for the most part has samsung exynos soc's
