S10 - Visual Voice Mail - Not Providing Notification when Turned On

I am new to ATT and have the Samsung S10.  Have Visual Voice mail setup with notifications on but I am not seeing notifications when I receive a message.  Well I do get the Icon at the very top of the screen but that is extremely hard to see and sometimes it doesn't show.  Is there a Full Sized Icon I can place on the screen that would have a counter associated with it?  Thanks

Hi, CFH2019,

Is there not otherwise an app icon for Visual Voicemail on your screen? Try these steps to add it to your home screen:

  1. Open the Applications screen.
  2. Tap and hold the Visual Voicemail app icon. The Applications screen should close.
  3. Drag the icon to where you want to place it on your screen, then lift your finger.

If this doesn't help, please let us know.

Hello @CFH2019!

When your visual voicemail doesn't want to work properly, it can be a concern. We're happy to assist!

Are you currently on a Postpaid or Prepaid service with AT&T? Have you created a voicemail box and password since the start of wireless service?

We recommend using our AT&T Device Troubleshoot/ Galaxy S10,10+ by selecting Voicemail in the Service/Network Issues tab and follow the steps to enable the voicemail features for your new cellphone.

We hope this information helps, and have an awesome weekend!

Thanks for your reply.  The app is installed and working but notification of voicemails is only shown at the very top of the phone which is hard to see.  My Samsung S7 Edge had a separate icon for voicemail which allowed notifications to be shown when new voicemails arrived.  I do not see that in this app?  To check for voicemail I have to select the phone app and once that app is open I have to go to the Keypad and select the voice mail icon to the left of the call button. Having this buried this far down is not effective and makes it hard to use or see if voicemail has arrived.
