I have an old S6 Active that is dying on me running Android 7.0. I decided to pick up a new S6 active, because budget and I like this phone, but it says that Android 6.0.1 is the current version. I have attempted to manually update multiple times, and even tried to update through smart switch. Is there something I am missing? Thanks!

Hello @CurtisKahre.
Our software tutorial page for the S6 Active shows that 7.0 should be the version AT&T phones run. We recommend wiping the cache partition and trying the software update again:
If that does not help, you may have to perform a factory reset. If the factory reset doesn’t help, there may be an issue with the device. Did you buy the phone new from AT&T? Buying a used or non-AT&T phone may affect what software updates you get and where you get them from.
