Galaxy S6 Active Automatic Time Zone Not Working

Hi!

I live in Puerto Rico (Atlantic Standrard Time) and have a Galaxy S6 Active phone and always use the automatic date & time feature. Last week I travel to San Francisco, CA, my phone works great and shows the correct time over there. I returned two days ago, stopping for few hours in Houston, TX, since that my phone got Central Daylight Time Zone and although I'm in Puerto Rico it keeps showing Central Daylight Time when Automatic date and Time is used. I have changed the time manually and it retains the input time, but change again to Central time when using the automatic feature. Also I restart the phone in multiple occasions and didn't fixed the problem.

Hi @mariai,

We'd love to get your automatic time zone working properly again. For starters, is your phone updated with the most recent software? Or, did you recently update your device before this issue started happening? If so, let us know. As for fixing this issue, there are a couple of things we'd like for you to try. First, you mentioned you already restarted your device. Have you tried de-selecting the automatic time zone function, then restarting your device? Once it boots back up, select the function again, and see if that helps. We look forward to hearing back from you!

Thanks Collin, de-selecting the automatic time zone function, then restarting the device and select the function again, when it boots back up works. I thought I have done that, but apparently not. Thanks for your suggestion.
