Block software updates

Can someone tell me how to block the software updates on a Galaxy S8 Active w/ AT&T?  I don't care for this newest update that occurred two days ago. It's changed the whole appearance of my phone. Is it possible to undo it?

Hello, @scawarren

Thanks for your post. We can help with your S8 Active software update. We encourage you, for security, to always keep your software up to date.

With the new update to Android 9 Samsung introduced One UI. We encourage you to check out all the buzz, and post reviews by visiting samsung.com/one-ui.

Kenneth, I understand the security issue but I still want to know how to undo this latest update.

Discussing how to roll back software updates is against the rules of this forum. There are plenty of other forums that will tell you ways to do it so Google it.

Hello there @scawarren!

We can help with that. Currently, there is no authorized procedure, either from your phone's manufacturer or network carrier, to rollback a software update.

We hope this info helps.

Also even if you roll back the update its going to get forced back on the phone.  You can only deny a update 3 times..  On the 4th time the update is going to download and install on its own whether you like it or not.
