APN Settings for Samsung Note 4 SM-N910A.

I just picked up a new AT&T Note 4 and cannot send MMS, or use my data at all.

I was wondering if anyone had the correct APN settings for this phone. I have tried 4 different ones on the internet and none of them work either.

Re: APN Settings for Samsung Note 4 SM-N910A.

Hello @BurtSherry!

Thank you for reaching out the Community Forums! I can totally understand how important it is to be able to connect to your mobile data. It will be my pleasure to provide you information to correct this problem.

If you are using an AT&T device, it should already have the correct settings to connect to our network. If this is the case, please use our AT&T Troubleshoot & Resolve tool, which provides an excellent guide to resolve this type of issues. Make sure to select your phone’s make and model > Service/Network > Internet and follow the steps.

In the event this is a compatible non-AT&T device, please click on this link to verify the correct APN and MMS data connection settings. Once there, you will also find step-by-step instructions to locate and program these new settings.

Please let us know if you have any other questions. I hope you have a fantastic day!

As this did fix my problem I have to thank you, but on the same note I don't feel these setting are the newest and best for the Note 4.

I am in a coverage area according to the map is maxim service and I have 1 out of 5 bars.

Re: APN Settings for Samsung Note 4 SM-N910A.

Hello again @BurtSherry,

The APN’s linked above are the latest ones available, and should provide a device with a 4G/LTE data signal. However, this may not help with service bars.

Signal can vary depending on quite a few things. Terrain, valleys, buildings and landscape can all affect your service. If your signal is poor in your residence, it could be due to building material. If it’s poor outside, it could be due to the terrain. If one device is getting signal and one is not, it could vary based off your devices antennae.

I highly recommend using our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool again! Instead of internet, choose your service issue. Make sure to select your make and model, and you will be provided with personalized troubleshooting!

I hope this information helps you. Please let me know if you continue to have issues. We want to ensure we get everything resolved!
