Will unlocking phone that has another network's sim erase phones content

I am a non AT&T customer with an unlock code from AT&T.  I have installed another SIM card but have not unlocked phone yet because i have had it for a bit using with wifi and for pictures ect. Will unlocking the phone reset it so tjat all content saved to the phone itself NOT the SIM card be erased once i enter the unlock code
