Should I change the passwords on my broken device before I send it back?

So recently my Note 4 just up and died completely. no power, doesn't turn on, doesnt carge. Etc. I've gotten a replacement and I have to send the original back to ATT minus the SIM and micro SD cards.

So my question is, do I now need to change every password from every app I used on my phone prior to it's untimely death?

Hello @SnistrCheshire

That’s a great question!

You do not need to change the password, when we receive your one of the very first things done to the device is completely erase the phone. However in this day & age with digital security being a very important matter if you would feel more comfortable changing your passwords you can. But again it is not mandatory, we value your privacy and security and it is our top priority.

Let us know if you have any questions!

My alarm went off fine this morning on my iPhone and I sent one text. Picked it up to use it again and nothing at all. No on or off no sounds. Battery was charged overnight as normal.
