Samsung Galaxy s7 Update

I have a Samsung Galaxy s7. My phone did automatic updates and changed some things. Before when I clicked on settings I was taken to a slide screen which helped me get to whatever screen I wanted to go to. Now I am taken to a list screen which I hate. I want to change it back but I can't find a way to do so. I also hate the themes. Can anyone help me. Thanks in advance

Re: Samsung Galaxy s7 Update

Hello @Biff54,

I completely understand where you’re coming from.  Changing technology can become a little difficult to get used to, and I apologize you’re having trouble with this new menu setup.  It would be my pleasure to help clear this up for you.

I looked through the settings of the new software update, and there is nothing listed which would change this list feature.  Have you noticed any other big changes with your settings? As far as changing themes for your device, I would recommend taking a look at this Samsung support article.  It will help walk you through changing the setup.

Please, feel free to reach out if you need any further assistance!

Re: Samsung Galaxy s7 Update

I just downloaded the new 7.0 which took all night to do. It is very plain. It's hard to read the small fonts for the top drop down where you choose sound, airplane, wifi, location....

calendar is hard to read, again small fonts. I miss having the numbers big , being able to read it and the appt at bottom . Now it's too small. Go back to the old version.

nothing fancy about this version. Very plain and boring. Wish I hadn't downloaded it. HATE IT.

Hi there @pnease,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community Forums with your feedback!

I’m sorry you’re not happy with the way the new update looks on your phone. I completely understand how you feel because I use my phone for everything, so it’s important I’m happy with it. It would be my pleasure to help with what’s going on.

Take a look at this great support page from Samsung. It’ll walk you through how to change the font size and style. This may help with the appearance and make it easier for you to see everything. We’re always here to help, so let me know if this doesn’t change the font for you.

Thanks so much for your time!

Re: Samsung Galaxy s7 Update

ATT updated on my S7 recently and made my phone unusable. Now it take several hours to fully charge my phone. Settings have changed. Performance has slowed, etc, etc, etc, etc..... You visit the various message boards and there are fixes for all your ATT and S7 problems. However, that's the issue: There are so many hardware, software and service issues with the ATT Samung phone to begin with. Terrible phone/service- never again.
