Samsung Galaxy S7 edge text tone is not working
I have had my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge for months now and never had a problem until like two days ago. Suddenly I cannot hear when I receive a text message and it is just text messages. Everything else is fine, notifications, calls and such are working, it's just the text tones. I wonder if it from the app I used (Zedge) but I have never had an issue before now. I have tried restarting my phone, turning the sound off and on and nothing works. Please help!!

When you have your messaging app open, click the 3 dots top right, then settings and make sure notifications are set to on.
Also change the notification and see if that helps.

Have you checked your notifications volume setting?
There are 4 volume settings. Ringtone, Media, Notifications and System
