My Samsung S7 did an auto update, when I turned it on this morning, it won't go on past the AT&Tlogo

it is on, and can't reboot it.  It won't go past the logo on reboot.  I was just getting comfortable with the last update!  Can't turn it off or remove battery....now what?

Hello @Mrspc1,

Not being able to use your device can be quite disheartening. I’m very sorry to hear the phone cannot fully boot. I will be more than happy to assist you!

The first step to try would be to press and hold your Power Key for 10 seconds. This should cause the device to perform a restart. If this does not work, you may need to perform an alternate factory reset. Please visit our Device Support page, select your make and model phone > Tutorials > Troubleshooting > Reset. Scroll down and complete steps 7-10. This will cause the device to wipe all information, so only do this as a last resort.

We also have a handy Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool to help! Select your make and model device, then your problem. This will provide personalized troubleshooting, which should resolve your issue!

I hope this information helps you. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns. Have a fantastic weekend!
