I reported my phone lost. Then found it.
I lost my phone. I couldn't find it all day I figured I set it down on a shelf at Walmart. So I called and reported the claim of course was denied. But I ended up finding it a couple hours later in my car under the seat. I called asurion and told them I found it. They said they removed the report. I ended up getting a new phone about a month ago and gave the old one to a friend in need. Well he put his Sim in (he also has att) and the phone threw him an error message about it being reported stolen. Any thoughts on what I should do. Ive called asurion an they say the report isn't there.

Contact ATT. You probably need the IMEI from the phone. If you reported the phone lost to ATT, they blacklisted it.
If ATT says Asurion blacklisted it, then they will have you contact them. .
Why would the claim be denied? And if you reported it, did they put through the blacklist?

asurion they said it was removed. But it clearly isn't. I'm just gonna take
it to the att store tomorrow before I have to go into work.

I have Insurance on my phone and it said my new one is coming. If I reported it stolen will they shut down the phone that was stolen?
