The charger that came with the phone can handle 110/220V. Voltage is not a concern, but the shape of the outlet opening is. The German electric outlets are two round holes. But most hotels have "D" shape holes that can accommodate U.S. plugs. Just to be safe and for future international travel, you can pick up an universal worldwide outlet adapter that can fit into outlets of any shape. It is less than $8 at Amazon.

Hi @Desertdiva66

I just came back from Germany and like @tim horton said, the power adapter that came with the phone will work perfectly fine, all you need is a simple plug adapter (no need to waste your money on any kind of voltage converter).

Thanks,Samsung-US-to-Euro-Plug-Adapter.jpg
