Can't Access WD TV Hub remotely via WD Photos app on my iPhone

Hi,

I'm trying to access my photos stored on my WD TV Live Hub via Western Digitals WD Photos app on my iPhone.  When I'm connected to my home network, everything works great.  But my WiFi isn't connected, it can't connect to the Hub.

My WD Hub plugs into an ASUS RT-N66R router, which plugs into my 2Wire gateway (plug 4 on the Local Ethernet plugs).

I don't know much about firewalls, DMZ and all that stuff, so any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Kraig

Hi @khawkins75,

There may be a port that needs to be opened for the WD app to connect to the WD Hub. One thing to try is to set the ASUS router in DMZ mode on the U-verse gateway.

To set it in DMZ mode, here is a helpful post from SomeJoe7777.

Hope this helps.
