Programs that you watch on the iPad are not "recorded programs" as you would think of them within the U-verse Whole Home DVR (WHDVR) concept. You are watching content streamed from the server.
If you recorded that same program on your DVR, then you could obviously still watch it, but it wouldn't know where you left off on the iPad; you'd have to find the place yourself. Similarly, if the content was available on-demand, you could watch it, but still have to find your own place.

thanks. will the server be able to remember the place where I watch in
iPad? Then I could get it from server when I watch on other TV later?
