Would like to upgrade dvr

How in the world does one get the latest dvr equipment.  I have an old Cisco model and have asked for replacements - specifically brand new 2250, told it is Motorola, I don't care, just send a new one please.  What do I get?  The same exact thing not once but twice!  I requested an new dvr-I get a used 4 year old one, call back specifically asking for the newer model 2250--told ok that they will request one for me.  I know better but really, do I have to have another 4 year old model?  I have 2 units in their boxes sitting in my house debating if I should return them or try the sales dept. next time.  Any suggestions?

Contact ATT Uverse Care on the link in my signature.

Send them a private message, on this link, and they should be able to give the help needed to solve your Uverse DVR problems. They are available M-F 8am-11pm Eastern time (also around on weekends), response may take up to 2 business days.

This is not the regular CS/TS phone people, but the social media Community Specialists that know the people to contact to get things done. I personally know as they've helped me on a DVR swap.

Include your account#, email address and a good phone # (land or cell) and time to contact you on. Check the blue PM envelope, upper right on every page, for their reply. Good luck 😉

This from MorganCS:

Storage Capacity

There are four large hard drive DVR receivers, and two standard 160GB DVR's (Chart attached below)

DVR Storage Capacity.png

New U-verse customers who subscribe to U300 or above core video packages at the time of installation are guaranteed to be installed with one of the two larger hard drive DVRs. New customers who do not opt for either the U300 or above package receive the standard 160GB DVR.

😉

The Motorola Labled DVRs are refurbs, the non refurbs are Labled Arris. They look identical except for a minor change inside. And it is possible to get a free upgrade.

We have an old Cisco IPN 4320 DVR and have had to reboot almost daily. I called in talked with a technician and was told I would get an new DVR. I had requested a NEW MODEL with more HD space. What was sent out to me is a refurbished Cisco IPN 4320. I am very PO. How do I go about getting a new Cisco IPN 7500? We have had UVERSE since it was available here in my area which is over 8years......

Update: I sent a PM to the ATT UVERSE Community Support link from an post above....Will see waht happens
