Weak Signal in the Bedroom

I have U300 and 12MB Internet and have been more than satisfied thus far. My hub or main Uverse box is in the den. I have noticed that in the master bedroom (approximately 25-30ft away) where the wireless box Uverse is located the video will intermediately pause or buffer when my wife is using her Ipad in the room. I've looked into range extender but for the cost I wondered if I could simply replace my AT&T provide router with an aftermarket router that has better covereage.

The wireless TV box does not use the same wi-fi as internet access. Te TV wi-fi is generated by a WAP that is connected to the RG cat5 & cannot be extended wirelessly.

Place it as far as you can away from the RG. If that does not help, get a longer cat5 cable (monoprice.com) and find a better location. Why not connect the bedroom box with cat5?

I'll try it. But if they are not using the same signal why do I only see interruption when internet wifi is being utilized in the same room.
