Max Volume still not loud with dvr viewing

The tv volume is fine with a blu ray or dvd thru the tv even at 1/4 volume,

but when watching live tv thru dvr stb we turn it up full blast and still not loud enough....

Anything I can do to increase the volumne going INTO the tv ?

Thanks in advance !

To control the volume on the STB

1) Press and hold the AT&T button on the remote.

2) Press the “OK” button and release it and the AT&T key at the same time. All the universal lights will flash twice.

3) Type 955. The AT&T key will flash twice.

4) Press “Enter”.

Now you can turn your volume all the way up on the STB. Once you get it set how you want, we need to set the remote back to control the TV volume instead of the STB. To do that:

1) Press and hold the AT&T button on the remote.

2) Press the “OK” button and release it and the AT&T key at the same time. All the universal lights will flash twice.

3) Type 955. The AT&T key will flash twice.

4) Press “TV”. The TV light will flash twice.

Thanks oz !!!

thought it was something like getting the stb back in volume control without the "pass thru".

Even though the stb was at lvl 24, and the max is 25, that 1 bump up made all the difference !

Thanks again ! Now the wife and I can argue about it being too loud instead of too low Smiley Very Happy

but IIRC, had to add pressing the at&t button  near the end of the 1st group(to put att stb in control)

That works thanks.  I was typing 995 instead of 955 by  mistake, but all works now thanks.
