Indicator light on wireless receiver
Edited by dgeiste on Jun 27, 2013 at 6:28:49 PM

Hello! Just got uverse installed today with the wireless tv receivers. This is a very minor thing, but is there any way to turn off the signal indicator light? At least to have it off when turning off the receiver?

It's in a bedroom and I'm one of those people that needs to have all lights off.

Thanks!

No, you can't turn it off.  Cover it with black electrical tape.  That's what I did.

Thanks skeeterintexas! That was my last resort, but you'd think that option would be built into the firmware. It looks like I'll have to go that route. I don't antcipate a signal less that's ever less than full since the receiver and RG are very close to each other.

Hopefully someone at AT&T development is listening as I'm sure many receivers are installed in bedrooms.

Again, thanks!
