Prepaid Phone activation fee?
So, a couple of days ago I went to my local att store to buy a prepaid gophone. But as I was paying for everything I was told that there was a $25 activation fee since I've never had an account.
My question is, is there really a $25 activation fee?

I just bought my attention prepaid unlimited data phone yesterday and on the box it says no activation fee so why does it tell me after activating it online that I won't have service til I pay my monthly fee?

Paying for SERVICE is not an activation fee. It is the nature of PRE paid that you pay for service before it will work.

I bought a sims kit from Walmart put my gophone on 2 dollars a day added 10 dollars only to be told I have to pay a 25 dollar activation fee so add 15 dollars. What the heck
