Purchased plan and add'ons... Use these funds towards plan change?

I have purchased a plan and then add ons within 24 hours. Can I change my plan and use the funds already paid on account plus whatever is owed towards the plan change? I thought the plan I got would work and it's clearly not so I need to change it. But upon changing it i have to pay the full payment for the plan. Again, I'm only 24 hours into my original plan.

If you do it online, any plan change causes the old plan to terminate and you lose any remaining days. There will be no credit toward the new plan, you will have to pay full price for the new plan before it will start. If you call, a rep may be able to make the change and apply credit.
